Still a very low TRIN here and I think that might be the 'trick' this time. This dip shouldn't be bought...

The only thing it seems like changed is the 'rampant' buying that was going on this morning - across the board - seems to have settled down.
It was a gorgefest this morning.

Also TRIN can be manipulated simply by Citibank alone. And looking at C today - that may be giving a false TRIN reading...

Good spot to watch thanks Ask I'm coaxing a handful of SPY puts here. yeah i got way too many of those jan $126s... they ate me and my account for lunch... i thought january was far enough out, but it hasn't looked that way recently today is giving me hope though that the market won't be able to hold up for 2 more weeks before opex

I was watching them so darn closely I was going to get a migraine.
All I know is that I saw them push really hard to the downside, the puts shot up, and then even with SPY continuing to lose some steam, the puts started decaying - that was when I decided to get out. This was the Jan 127.
It's just so hard to short even when we're going down...

Someone's stuffing every stilt they can find under RIFIN/ XLF components to keep this bloated market afloat. Amazing...but not safe to trade (at least not for me!)
