Looks like the S&P broke its lower trend lines on both its daily and weekly charts. The 50WMA and 1234 here we come. 10% lower (5% from here): Correction!

Meat says that while he appreciates your chart, and while the trend has measurably shimmied up through natural process of time, the 1150 stands because of overthrow.
I told him that was a copout. Either way we agreed the buy motors start at 1170.

Personally I'll still always be in the MP camp but my logic has always been based on the 1130/50 horizontal level was key resistance and would have to at least be tested I think before the bull market is determined to be true or not.
As Dualism, Novice and others have pointed out, stagflation might become a real possibility soon

I heard a song from dark side of the moon, the one where the chick is singing without using words, and I thought man, this stuff still holds up.

the chord changes on the keyboard do something to me, always have. thanks Jack I used their "Money" track in part of the multi-media presentation crafted for a graduate project at Harvard....had 3 slide projectors going, a 16mm, an 8mm and a Super 8mm projector with soundtrak and got the Boston travelling zoo to let lose a couple of their animals in the audience. It was a blast.

that's crazy...I like it! Generation X was watching the wizard of oz while listening to dsotm. the neo-hippies I was born in 1971 and never considered myself to be a Gen X'er. I thought I was in a sort of no man's land between Baby Boomers and Generation X ers. Generation X starts with people born in the 60s in fact. Anyhow, here is one of my favorite jams from when I was a young skate rat. The band is Billy Idol's and they are called Generation X. 1Song is 00 punks rule!
