anything happening here?? Consolidation. Here is what I think is going on with JASO: JASO Hourly LT ChartJASO traverses and is near the bottom of a longterm upward trending channel. As well JASO paints a long term ascending triangle. Within the longterm upward trending channel we see two symmetrical triangles with one broken out and rallied from and the other potentially about to breakout and rally from. IF we see the breakout I expect higher highs in JASO e.g. she will see the top of the channel @ over 7.50ish level minimum -assuming momentum builds she may go as far as 9.00ish level BUT we will not know until she starts moving...

Updated the JASO Hourly LT ChartAdded the JASO 5 Minute Chart for some short term perspective. I think we see consolidation recently BUT do expect JASO to start upward again tomorrow. I still look for a break of the 6.25ish level as critical. IF we see JASO do this then I see the top of the channel @ 7.00ish level as a minimum coming...

volume has been weak, any thoughts? When an issue consolidates it is typical to see volume taper off...

I know, just wondering when I should add. Thanks. My thoughts are we see a potential breakout from consolidation here -I am looking for a daily breakout above 6.25ish level. Assuming the bullish case, I expect volume to pick up and the short term 1st target I see from here is the 7.00ish level. The earlier longer term prognosis as far as targets remains the same...

UPDATE:
JASO kicked some butt Monday.
Reviewed and updated the charts -added a weekly and daily for long term perspective. No change in bullish prognosis.
We see the 6.25ish level daily breakout confirmed and then some with 6.75ish level breakout unconfirmed...
The sector as a whole is hot and JASO should benefit from the interest
Assuming the bullish case remains and momentum continues I expect 6.75ish level to hold with first possible slowdown at around the 7.50ish level (top of potential channel) --this, on the way up to the 9.00ish level at which point I will reevaluate...

This session looks like a selloff after better than expected earnings.
I am holding this one.
Looking at the charts now the question is do we simply see a gap fill?

Looking at the JASO 5 Minute ST Chart -it looks like the verdict is still out. The gap is filled and short term indicators are leaning bullish; however, it appears that the shorts are trying to take her down right now... Tomorrow we shall see...

UPDATE:
Here I go again...
Reviewed and updated the charts -added a 5 minute chart for short term insight.
Maybe we see JASO bottom put in?
Not much to see long term in the charts.
Looking at the daily we see that JASO has broken the downtrend line and now sits right below a heavy resistance confluence comprised of the 200 Day SMA, the 20 Day SMA, and a potential descending resistance line. I think it is critical that JASO take out this resistance confluence to confirm the trend change.
Looking at the hourly long term chart we see that JASO traverses an ascending channel and potentially heads back up now...
As far as targets, right now it is hard to establish much. The daily chart pattern(s) still develop while the long term hourly would suggest a longer term target around the 7.00ish level -it is only the 5 minute chart that provides potential insight... Assuming the bullish case --looking at the 5 minute chart, the estimated target from the pattern breakout is @ the 5.00ish level which if successful would take out the resistance confluence and confirm the trend change. As such I look for the 5.00ish level and would not be surprised to see JASO gap up to get there. Anyway, I will reevaluate when and if JASO takes the 5.00ish level...

Bump for timber.
Daily and hourly charts show best what I think I see...
I will look the the charts this evening...
Meanwhile assuming the bullish case scenario prevails it looks like 5.75ish level might be next target...

I still see 5.75ish level as target and will reevaluate there...
